Jeg skruede cylinderen af min fs1'er i forbindelse med et renoveringsprojekt. Desværre så jeg at en af stempelringene var knækket og havde taget en ordenlig luns af stemplet med.
Nu skal jeg så til at investerer i et nyt stempel, men hvad kan i anbefale?
Skal jeg for eksempel købe et grafit stempel og hvad er fordelen ved det?
Can i assume that what has happened, is that a piston ring broke on assembly, and snapped off a piece of the piston at the same time?
If so, i would recommend a genuine Yamaha piston, as these will be machined to correct dimensions and out of quality materials, resulting in a fit that doesn't nip up when hot.
If however it's just the rings that have snapped, then just change them, but again, i would only use genuine Yamaha rings.
