5-gearbox

Hello,

I hope you can speak a litlle bit english (like I do) because I can't speak danisk.
I'm Roy and I'm from Holland.
I have tried to read a few topics but I can't so I ask it here in English.
I know there where 5-gear Yamaha FS1's but in Holland these are very rare, so I want to know if they are here very rare too?

Sorry if my grammar isn't very good but I am not good in English at school

as far as i know we have never even had 5-gear fs1 models in denmark...

i didn't even know they existed..

In Holland the 5-gear FS1 was only produced in the beginnig (1969) but because they have 5-gears it was a motorcycle by law and so they have to take 4-gears. So there where only a few saled with 5 gears and that is why they are here very rare.
But I thought maby they are here longer produced.

Welcome to the Danish Yamaha heaven..
The FS1 with 5 speed gear box have never been sold in danmark, and they are very rare in Denmark as well.
However they existed as motorbikes in other markets. Many must have been produced over the years, but they are difficult to trace.

Danish is a little bit similar to Dutch.
But you are right, they are hard to find

There are similarity in Dutch and Danish.
I have traveled all over the world with KLM. And with some knowledge to German / Danish / and English it is indeed possible to read and understand Dutch language..
