Svinghjul tager ikke effekt og giver ikke effekt. Det oplager / afgiver.
I har nok ret i at et ordenligt tændingsanlæg giver effekt.

På racerbiler letter / forminsker man svinghjulsmassen, for at skåne gearkassen (det er kløerne / syncromesserne) der skal bremse svinghjul mm. ved gearskift.
Svinghjulet er også lettere at få til at blive sidende på krumtappen. Et standart svinghjul kan få remskiver mm. til at falde af, og krumtappen kan brække fordi den åler.

Et let svinghjul får i tomgang gearkassen til at lyde som en cementblander med store sten i. :hihi
Jeg tror det er derfor VW bruge dobbeltmasse svinghjul.

Vis mig en effekt kurve, hvor max effekt er højere ved kun at skifte svinghjul.

Det giver bedre gasrespons og måske lidt bedre acceleration. men desværre ikke højere max effekt.

Jeg har vist ikke nævnt andet, end jeg ikke kan se, hvordan et lettere svinghjul kan medføre højere effekt.

Til gengæld påstår jeg, at et svinghjul med reduceret størrelse kan give en sjat som følge af det reducerede drag. Det har blot ingen relation til vægten.
Jeg fastholder derfor mit postulat om, at en eliminering af vingerne på et svinghjul til blæsekøling, vil afstedkomme en effektstigning.

Ydermere vil to svinghjul med samme vægt og hhv. stor/lille diameter levere forskellig gasrespons, qua "Kraft x Arm".


Forskellen på let/tungt svinghjul vs. tab af hastighed ved kørsel op ad bakke, tror jeg er en tidsbestemt illusion. Hvis stigningen er langstrakt nok, vil begge motorer ende på samme tophastighed, men det tunge svinghjul er længere tid om at tabe pusten.


Der er ingen tvivl om, at en innerrotor gør en forskel (selv med statisk tændingstidspunkt), og hvis motoren får en eksplosiv karakteristik, kan jeg godt forstå, man narres til at tro, motoren har fået flere kræfter.
Det samme gælder om indsugning uden lyddæmpning: Motoren lyder som om den har fået flere kræfter, selv om det ikke behøver være mere effektiv tuning end 'fartstriber'.
